Tekram came onto the scene with awesome driver support. More frequent updates than adaptec, for example. And besides the generatic Symbios or NCR drivers work fine in any OS that Tekram drivers. B) Go to the Device Manager of Windows (Start - Settings - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager). Find the entry marked SCSI and RAID controllers. Click on the ‘+’ sign to expand the entry. If the driver appears as in step 12 below, everything is fine and the card should work fine.

  1. Win 7 32 bit Operating System. (professional or enterprise, not home edition).
    • If 64 bit OS then downgrade the OS to 32 bit
  2. Use the SCSI that worked in the other computer.
    • For instance: Tekram dc-315u SCSI host adapter.
      • Type: Ultra SCSI, External Connectors: 1 x 50-Pin High Density, Internal Connectors: 1 x 50-Pin Ultra/SCSI-2, Interface: PCI, Transfer Rate: 20MB/Sec
  3. The computer motherboard needs to have a 32-bit PCI slot.
  4. The Win2k drivers for the Advansys card, or the Vista drivers for the Tekram card seem to work. Select the hyperlinks of the manufacture to download the drivers.

Click on the Driver tab. Click on the Update Driver button. Continue at step 9 below. Ignore the manual that comes with the Tekram card. This manual has not been updated to include the latest driver and Operating System revisions. Make sure you find the driver CD-ROM that come with the Tekram card and keep it at hand. Turn OFF the computer. Drivers & Downloads Visit to the above 3. Windows Drivers & Downloads; 6. Windows Server™ 2003 R2. Information on Windows Server™ 2003 R2. ServerView for TX150 S2/TX150 S4/TX200 S2/RX100 S2/RX100 S3/RX200 S2/RX300 S2/RX600 S2/BX620 S2 Note. Ignore the manual that comes with the Tekram card. Thanks but the problem is that I'm in Australia, so the postage
becomes more than the card! ;)
